Costco tire service

The employee named bridges should be fired! I made an appointment on 6/22 for 5 pm for a tire rotation (Even left work early for it) and I showed up 5 minutes to 5 pm and the employee named bridges told me that he checked their system, even checked my confirmation number and that I was not in the system and that since it was 5 pm, he could not take my car in for a tire rotation. Fyi, the tire center close at 8 pm. He told me to call back on tuesday morning and ask for him and that he would take care of the tire rotation himself that day at 5 pm. I called (After 8 tries) and spoke to bridges himself who told me to come in at 5 pm and that he would take care of the tire rotation himself. I show up at 4:59 pm (Left work early again) and I find out bridges left work at 4 pm. The employee working there, ken, took my car in at 5 pm, but since I didn't have an appointment (Thanks to bridges, who when I asked if I could make an appointment told me I did not need one), it took 3 hours. Out of curiosity, I had ken check my previous confirmation number to see if my original appointment that bridges said I didn't have was in the system. Turns out it was in the system and bridges had lied to my face. Needless to say bridges is an unprofessional, incompetent employee who should be fired. My purpose for this post is to warn other patrons of his antics. Make sure you speak to anyone else there other than bridges because nothing he says can be trusted and he is so incompetent, he doesn't even know how to use their computer system. I filed a complaint with management, but it seemed like a waste of time. They gave me a box of $6.99 cookies to compensate. It was a nice gesture, but that does not change the fact that bridges should be fired!

I had similar experience yesterday at this Bridgewater NJ Costco Tire Center.

I was sent back.
It was Monday - a weekday.
I had chosen weekday because it would be less rush.

During the day, I had called Tire Center for Tire Rotation. I was told, the Tire Center is open till 8:30 and I can come around 5pm for the job get done.
I arrived precisely at 5:10pm at the Tire Center front-desk. I do not know the name of the person on the front-desk. He was so unreasonable. And just did not take my car for consideration. He was so adamant. Even responded me like..."It is 5:13. I have to leave. I cannot get your car out of Garage. etc. etc."

I was so disappointed.
May not visit this Costco in future.
May not renew membership either.

Costco customer service

This evening at about 8:25 I was leaving Costco, as I gave the receipt to the person at the door, the man asked me to open my bag because he needed to check it. I said " what, why do you need to check my bag" then he asked me again and said because I had an oversized bag, I opened it but I told him I always have that bag with me when I shop. In fact it's a small gym bag. I was extremely offended. I have been a member for many years, I shop at Costco at least twice a week and this has never happened.
It was embarrassing and offensive. They did not ask any other customers around me to open their bags.
Then I went to the manager and told him what happened, his response was they can do that but he's never seen it happen before.
I can understand if there was suspicion, probable cause or an employee saw someone put somthing in their bag. But I do not think this was the right thing to do to a paying customer.
I want an answer to this. There was no probable cause to justify this.
I watched the exit after I talked to the manager and they did not ask any other customers to open their bags.
As I have said I go to Costco a few times a week and I have never seen this.
I will contact my lawyer in regards to this if I do not have a response.
You cannot humiliate your customers.

Costco optical department

Hello. My name is Samantha, I was just in your kelowna location, around 7:30pm with my boyfriend who was trying to buy contacts that he needs before he goes away to work for a week. I feel it's important to make you aware that your employee who was working at the time was exceptionally unpleasant, and more importantly unhelpful. We left feeling essentially that she could not have been bothered to help him at all, even though he'd had all the proper prescriptions and eye exam information sent in. It was simply lost and there was nothing she could do about it, other than be plain rude. Because of this I don't think my boyfriend will be buying his contacts from there moving forward.

Costco return service

After being customers to Costco for over ten years, the return experience today really pissed me off and the customer service attitude at Costco really puts me thinking whether it is time to terminate my membership.

I recently purchased a night own security system from local warehouse for $399 plus tax - it kept sending false alarms and therefore I purchased another QSee system online with $50 coupon later on. While returning the night owl system, local warehouse directly deducted the $50 coupon ($349), even though I insisted that the purchase did not apply any coupons. After checking my purchase history, I figured out that the warehouse applied wrong coupon (Qsee) to Night Owl purchase. I had to drive back again to ask them to fix the problem. The same rep refused to acknowledge her mistake first. Afterwards, she found out her mistake and was able to credit back the wrongly applied coupon. When I asked what was the amount credited back to me, she said "I am returning the money you asked for". What a joke with Costco company's culture and customer service - the interaction made me feel that I was the one to blame for making troubles. Should there be at least an apology for the mistake? After all, I tried to help fix the problem but my efforts were considered as trouble. Should customers be treated with sincerity and dignity? It has been a long time since I encounter such a rude and unresponsible response from customer service and I never thought this could happen to Costco.

Costco house made caesar salad

My name is Juan P Torres and I have been a long time costumer of your company and products.
I have recently experience an inconvenience that could have turned fatal if I did not pay close attention to what I was eating. I had purchased a Caesar Salad on the 19th of June to have it at home for lunch. Served It to eat it for lunch on the 20th and wile I was eating it I felt something odd from the salad. Removed it from my mouth and it was a 9" piece of plastic. Obviously I went to it and made sure that it was not a mistake on my behalf when I opened the salad, dressing or croutons. The plastic was from something else that had gotten mix with the salad it self.
I quickly called the store and spoke to make them aware of the problem. Spoke to a manager names Claudia (no last name). She took all the info down and told me to pass by to file a report. Filed the report and someone was suppose to keep in contact with me within 24 to 48 hours. No one did. I called Friday June 23 at 2pm and spoke to another MGR Jason Dias. He told me that someone mite call me again within 24/48 hours. That was yesterday
I don't know if anyone cares about anyone's else well bean or not but the honest truth is that I could have chocked to death in front of my 8 year old. The fact that they are not caring about a concern or complain enrages me. Sure, at the end it's all a what if since nothing seriously happen because I felt in while I was eating it, but what if that could have been my last day. Specially if anything serious had happening in front of my son. I understand that no one cares because it did not happen to them but it happen to me.
I wanted to make you guys aware of what happen and how no one is caring about a simple follow up in regards to this.
I still have the reciete, the claim # and even the proof of the plastic. So far it has been a BIG disappointment from your management in following up in regard to that claim. I would like to make you aware to see if anyone cares about it. Please let me know if you would like this proof or simply care and ask. My number is [protected]. Thank you.

Costco avocados

I always buy a bag of avocados when I go to Costco. They are always large and high quality. However the last bag was terrible. They rotted way before they were ripe!
I suspect they were from a different supplier than usual. You may know of the problem, but in case you don't, thought you should be aware of this. Now I will be afraid to buy avocados from Costco anymore.
The avocados had the sticker from Naturipe, product of Peru 4225.
I would so much appreciate it if you would look into this and maybe find another supplier for your avocados.

Costco rude food demonstrations employee

To who it may concern,
I was there today as usual to buy my weekly grocery, I when to try the crispy chicken that the lady was sampling when I reached for the chicken she slapped me in the harm! I don't know what kind of employee would ever do such thing! She did it in front all the people I was never Miss treated this way I've been a member since 2003 I don't think I will be renewing my membership or coming back to your club! Terrible terrible terrible quality employee service!

Costco tires

No credit given for unmounted tire/sidewall damage because couldn't see damage. I saw the leak when forced to buy tire at Walmart. About 1/2 life remained. I'm retired Capt. USMC 1st time word doubted by merchant. Tires are Michelin P245/70R17. Do what you think is fair. I'm 79 years old and can ill afford unnecessary expenses. Please advise of your actions.

Costco water home delivery service is very bad.

For over 2 year I experiencing a bad delivery and scheduling problems. They don't come in their schedules unless I call upper management not even customer service helps. I did complain to Costco before then I received a call from upper management apologized and notify me the route is short on driver ( for that long time) and gave me his number if I experience any issue, guess what, they still don't deliver unless I call Mr: Ernest or text him then I revive a delivery in most cases the next day. To make less headache I even ask them to deliver 10 bottles every time so I don't need a delivery every month. With that said, Mr Ernest is no longer the route manager and Mr Phil is the one but he is not returning call more text.
I disappointed from Costco since I always believed that any thing to get or buy through Costco should be top of the line and best service not in this case you guys still dealing with this company that doesn't respect your customer and by the way I have friends and neighbors in the same town as me experienceing the same issue and did complain as well all they get is a call and apologies and a delivery for one time then back to the same issue again. Never solving the problem.
The water home delivery should be as convenient as you have a monthly schedule of delivery and pick up empty bottles not like now I have 15 empty bottles and when they do deliver they don't notify so we take the bottles out. Bottom line service is BAD and can't wait for Costco to change dealing with this company (DS water service)

Costco i found what appears to be a tooth!!! in my chocolate cookies

I have found a TOOTH in my chocolate chip cookies! I am shocked to my core. I am more than willing to take this matter as far as I need to. To make sure this dosnt happen again to anyone else. Im not sure how this happened. Is there any rodents in the facility? Such as rats? I cant even believe it! Im not sure who I need to contact but I hope some gets this and is able to contact me ASAP. I do have pictures! So please get back to me!

Yesterday, on 06/21/2017 I got a quote for two Michelin Defender LTX tires, I decided to buy the two tires at this time. I was told that it would be better to come in the next morning to get them put on, therefore I wouldn't have to wait so long. So I showed up at 0700 A.M. on 06/22/2017, my truck was number 9 on the list. So I then waited 2 1/2 to 3 hours and then received a call from the tire center. It was at this point they told me they could not install the two tires because Costco policy says "you can't mix all season with all terrain tires." I understand the safety however 2 1/2 to 3 hours later is not the time to tell the customer this, nor was I informed the day before. Anyways I bought the other two tires. I then received a call that my truck was done. I went to pay for the tires. I was second in line and somehow had to wait an extra 45 mins to 1 hour. I was skipped multiply times and almost completely ignored. I finally had to ask for a manager. He was not there, and they were waiting for my paperwork. It was not until 10 mins after I had to ask again. My paper work was clearly in reach the whole time. I did not get an apology or sorry we wasted your time. Not to mention I was charge to dispose all of the tires and there were two still in the bed of my truck. We have gotten tires, batteries and other supplies for many years. I have never had such horrible customer service to write a complaint.

I would like to see better informed employees and a partial refund for my time and frustration.

Costco tire center

My husband called this AM to inquire about getting Bridgestone tires installed. The sales guy said the tires were in stock. He scheduled an appointment. My husband drove there (which is a 45 minute drive) and was told that he could not get the Bridgestone tires. So, he turned around and came home. Very disappointing and frustrating. The sales guy should of known what tires were in stock before my husband drove all the he way to Costco for his appointment.

Costco pharmacy mail order services

At the beginning of June, I processed a pharmacy order for the first time, through your mail order service. It was for a prescription I had been on for twelve years.

About four days later, I noticed a $90 charge on my debit card. Apparently, there is a $30 co-pay per month for my prescription. I was never informed of this by Costco. I received no e-mail or phone call. My previous mail order company had no copay and they only provided one month's supply at a time. I had not even received the prescription yet by mail at this time.

I called me bank to dispute the charge and marked "return to sender refused" on the package when it arrived, and gave it to the USPS. It has now been over two weeks and your mail order customer service is saying they have not received the package. The return address is one town away (I live in Riverside, it was returned to your Corona processing center) so it appears it may be lost in the mail.

I am not able to get my prescription filled at my local pharmacy until Costco reverses the claim. My prescription provider Navitus (insurance is actually Anthm Blue Cross) says you, Costco, must reverse the claim. Navitus stated that since it has been two weeks, Costco should be reversing this claim so my local pharmacy can file a claim and I can have my prescription filled.

This is my first experience with Costco mail order and it has been terrible. It is making me think of cancelling our personal and business membership with Costco in general.

I am requesting this claim be reversed at this time, so I don't run out of my prescription. Customer service has been unwilling to do this, although two weeks have passed.

Costco kirkland olive oil

I used to buy your Kirkland Olive Oil in a glass bottle. All you have available now is in plastic bottles. I'll buy again when glass bottles return. I try to avoid plastic as much ch as possible and have heard that olive oil is best stored in a class container. I have no idea whether your plastic bottles are BPA free or not, but even if it is, I prefer glass. I've been very disappointed about this because I read somewhere in a review that your olive oil is the real deal. It just needs different packaging to satisfy me.

Costco hp ink cartridge refills

I have been purchasing my HP ink cartridges, refilled ink cartridges and HP printers from Costco for several years. I currently have a HP Photosmart 6525 printer.

I thought you should be aware that a recent HP printer software update detects a refilled HP cartridge as being refilled and reads it as a non-HP cartridge.

As a result, the printer will not print from this cartridge. Additionally, their customer service just told me that refilled cartridges void the warranty. I thought you should be aware of this moving forward with your business relationship with HP.

I know Costco always puts its customer first and this new HP policy does not seem to coincide with your overall customer service business practices.

Additionally, the software update occurred AFTER the HP warranty expired, but even though this is a software created issue, they will not support the problem without paying a fee.

I just thought you should be aware of this situation.

Costco tire department must all be deaf or out to lunch

I stopped monday at the Costco in Camillus New York and asked for the final cost on a set of Micheline run flat tires. These tires are very very expensive. The tire guy told me the price would be $1253.47 and they do not stock the size I need for my BMW the tire size is 255-50-R19 -107H. He told me if I decided to purchase them from Costco to call and they would order them. He went on to say it would take 7-10 days to get the tires. I called multiple times today and NO ONE WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE. After several attempts I called and requested an person to walk over and tell the tire department to wake up and answer their phone. They put me back in the "Q" and another 12 minutes went by. I hung up and called again. A girl answered and when I asked it anyone was alive in the tire department she answered they are busy. I told her how long and how many times I had called. When I was there on Monday the guy gave me all the information needed. It was not like he was going to have to go through a sales pitch. Just order the tires... it isn't like I m buying a dollar item, I m buying $1300 worth of tires.

Costco seasonal wrought iron chair, table & bench

This is NOT a complaint but a request. Will you bring back the black seasonal wrought iron chairs that I believe are either a Costco or Kirkland brand? Costco usually had the wrought iron table, chairs & bench that were sold separately.
Please, please consider bringing back that style & brand.
Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to seeing these products back next year.

Costco costco tire center norwalk, ca

How is that a company as large and successful as Costco only have 1 employee to interface with a sea of customers. I have experienced this a couple of times in the past thinking it was just a snafu. But now I can see that it is an upright managerial mistake. I'm not sure who is responsible for managing the tire center in Norwalk, CA. The decision/lack of attention to this issue is concerning. While big companies get a bad rep for cutting costs, this certainly is the case for the Costco tire center. With people that have full time jobs and full time families, it is impossible to spend so much time here. I am seriously disappointed in Costco and I hope that your conglomerate can gather a few pennies to hire more service representatives. I am currently standing in line with 6 people in front of me. Each customer takes an average of at least 10 minutes. So you're saying that waiting an hour in line is okay? Please respond to my email at djoseph.[protected]@gmail.com to know that there is someone on the other end who can relay this message to the right person.

Costco optical desk

Frances or Francis at the optical desk in the san dimas costco gave us the worst customer service ever. Very rude and cold when asked simple questions. Started helping other customers and gave them better customer service and wasted our time as he gave us false information. Will not be coming back and will spread the word of this horrible attitude and service.

Costco citi visa card - bad customer service at chat and toll free 855#

I don't have problem with the Visa card but I experienced terrible customer service at chat session when I was on the Internet paying for the balance. Then I experienced "no response" from their [protected] .

It appears to me that chat session and 800 number from Citi Visa are just "check list items" for them but they are not properly staffed to provide real service.

It appears to me the person handling the chat session was not properly trained nor qualified to answer credit card related questions. Worst yet, there is no way to identify the session I experienced. There was no session ID number I can refer to when I am talking about this unpleasant experience.

I asked to chat with a supervisor and was told no supervisor was available (in the middle of a business Monday) and I was told to call the 855 number.

I called this 855 number on June 19, 2017, 12:27 PM California Time. Talked with a lady who told me she is a supervisor, she tried to connect me with the supervisor on the chat department and was not able to. She asked my number and told me the chat supervisor will call me.

No call at all.

This may not be a service directly provide by COSTCO but by choosing your service vendor, the service received reflected badly on the brand.

Current setup (No session ID, no feedback method at the end of chat session...) also makes it very difficult to provide feedback to COSTCO about our experience dealing with your service vendor.

I have the chat log but I don't want to post it in public because it relates to my credit card.

I like the chat supervisor call me. or having a number from COSTCO that I can talk to directly on this matter.
