Eating some Kirkland trail mix I had something stuck in my throat that coughing didn't help, took me 15 minutes and finally with the help of bread it went down. Having another handful in my mouth I found a 1 inch twig? Got a sore throat today from trying to cough it up and I'm thankful I didn't swallow that second one too! Enjoy product but that was a scary situation and could have been even worse Upset now!
Always enjoyed product but now not so sure. Quality control should be better. Saved bag with bb date and code?

Membership practices/discriminatory policies
I have and continue to be appalled by Costco's handling of the mask requirements/mandate before, during, and after the CDC has mandated them. When COSTCO put the mask mandate in play BEFORE it was required, we stopped shopping there. When it became a federal requirement we went back and renewed our membership. Then in our state the mask mandate has been removed since January and Costco still kept enforcing it. Then the CDC and our local city Health Department removed the mandate and COSTCO STILL required it. What's worse, is we walked through the entire store without one, picked out our groceries, ran by several employees (including the greeter) who clearly saw we weren't wearing masks. It was then, at the checkout after all out items had been scanned that we were told we had to wear a mask or we couldn't pay and take our items with us. We reluctantly did so but immediately canceled our membership and received a refund. Not only did it feel like Costco was just doing the bate and switch to get the sale, but it was a huge overstep of their services - after all, they are only a grocery chain. Sure businesses can impose what they want but not when I'm paying to be a member AND my input isn't sought. Since then, COSTCO has changed it's stance (probably due to backlash by other consumers). Costco is sure to suffer from their gestapo like tactics and I for one hope people will take heed. They are merely a grocery store and there are other options. I chose not to spend my money in places where I'm controlled by someone in Washington State when those statutes don't apply. To say you follow state/local protocols is untrue, you do what you want unless it serves your purpose.

The Costco in cranberry Pennsylvania collects yearly dues for membership, and yet kicks people out if they cannot wear a mask or shield. I have personally been kicked out twice, I was hoping that things have changed. Most Americans have had Covid and have the antibodies. Thousands have gotten the shot. It's unhealthy to wear a mask, all studies have shown. It is a persons constitutional right to shop for food without a mask in PA & most States!
My husband and I have the executive business account, and we will be canceling and moving our business elsewhere. I hope more people will wake up, stand up, and live by science and the constitution which protects the people from the government. How sad to see Costco turn into the Gestapo!
Just an FYI, every other store I go to does not discriminate against people who do you not need to wear a mask anymore for whatever reason. The sign on the door should say if you want to wear a mask to protect yourself, please wear one, if you do not need a mask feel free to shop without one!

Citibank Visa Card
I have been a loyal Costco member since 1997 and have had the Costco Citibank Visa for many years. I have always paid my full balance well in advance. Never a late payment. Recently, due to an error not of my own, a payment that I made from my bank account to the Citibank Visa was returned. It was the fault of the bank. Citibank canceled my card.
Desired outcome: I would like my credit card account reinstated.
Mask wearing
Your decision to suspend mask wearing and relying on people to be honest is ridiculous and not in the best interest of your members. The store in Nanuet New York is always crowded and has never restricted the number of customers in the store. I think you need to reconsider this.

Rebates
Rabate money is my money.
There should be a way to request a direct deposit directly into my bank account. Or, I should be able to request a check.
But no, I have to drive in and go to the front desk to cash a rebate in. Holly Cow! what if I lived a hundred miles away and needed MY cash? I've put up with this for years and swallowed my complaints.
Today (5/15/2021), I went in to cash MY rebate, and Costco's policy has changed. Now you have to go all the way into the store and buy something to use it. Even the employees think it's stupid and told me to buy something inexpensive, and the cashier will give me back the remainder of MY money in change.
What Costco rebates are beginning to amount to are loyalty discounts on Costco purchases.
When I received my few hundred dollars in change, I went back to the front desk and asked if they would exchange all the twenties for hundred dollar bills. They wouldn't even do that.
For the first time in years, I'm considering shopping elsewhere. I might sell all my stock also.

I recently purchased ground beef 88% from Costco on the 11th of May, went to make dinner, it looked red On outside but inside was completely brown, never seen anything like it . I paid 25.00 For this meat which is questionable. I wasn't feeding to my family so I decided to boil for my dogs and to my surprise it disintegrated into a slime and about 2 inches of oil . Dryer and Washer

To begin with Costco service is the worst we have ever experienced. I am going to put the same in the social media to let people know never to order any appliances with Costco ever . We were supposed to move to new home and 27th of may so we ordered accordingly on Costco online for a Samsung dryer and washer with order number [protected], when it was delivered the washer was damaged so it was sent back . We kept back the dryer thinking costco will replace the washer.We kept calling the customer care for 1 week they kept saying that the order is on the way but after a week they said the product is no more available. They were not ready to replace the order with other brand. All they said was we have go online and order our selves.
We again ordered one more electric washer and dryer online with costco which is delivered today (order number-[protected]) in this order washer is damaged and the dryer is no even eletric .its GAS.How can any one be so irresponsible. And there delivery people did not even take back the earlier dryer back saying its not in there instruction. We have got the refund only for the earlier washer not for the dryer. Because of all this delays we are forced to stay back in the rental house for 15 more days .and have to pay the rent. Now nothing is available for immediate delivery. We want immediate action.

I have been a member of Costco for many years, but I will not renew my membership again. I am a on-going cancer patient. My doctors have told me to not wear a mask because it decreases your immune system. I cannot afford that. Several weeks ago I was in your store and had one of your employees get nasty with me just because it wasn't covering my nose completely. I cooled my temper, paid my bill and left. Last week while in town, I stopped by to make a purchase. I had only been in your store for maybe 10 minutes and in that time I had 3 employees get nasty with me about the same thing. I had my mask on but it was not completely covering my nose. The 3rd person was an upper management person who informed me that if I didn't keep it above my nose, I would have to leave. Who do you think you are to dictate my health and well being. Not only that, it's against my constitutional rights to tell me how I must live! I have spent thousands of dollars between my family's personal purchases, and my wife's business purchases. It's companies like yours that are driving this country down!
Citibank visa
On April 30, 2021 I made a payment of $14745.00.
On May 3rd it shows it cleared my bank account.
I tried to use my card. Couldn't.
When I called the bank how they could tell me was that I would have to wait 7 to 10 days. My question is why? You've taken my money I have no balance. I don't recommend this card.

Defective Maytag Washer
I had a Maytag washer delivered on 4/12. After multiple issues with delivery...the truck arrived 6 hours later than the stated time and then turned around because they did not have the appropriate pass to enter the community. Delivery was scheduled a second time and again the truck was 6 hours later than stated. Due to these delays the installation service was unable to provide the contracted services. As a result, I had to pay a plumber to install. Costco stated I would receive a $150 refund for this, however, I have not seen the credit and Costco can not provide any info as to when this credit will be received. The washer does NOT work...it is a defective unit. I have had two licensed plumbers evaluate the machine and both state that the unit is defective. It does not properly fill with water and makes a horrendous sound when started. I have repeatedly called the concierge line and requested to have management contact me, all with no response. I have been promised a service technician, however, when I call to confirm, the contracted appliance repair company states they do not have any appointments scheduled. This washer was delivered on April 12...my credit card was charged on April 6. Costco stated they can replace the washer, however, it will not arrive until mid May. This is beyond unacceptable. However, the front line of Costco customer service is powerless to fix the situation and I am getting no where requesting management to intervene.

I no longer wish to be a part of your organization because you stopped selling Palmetto cheese after its founder accurately called BLM a "terror organization". Costco also donated $25 million to support Black-led financial institutions and community development initiatives, thus discriminating against people of all other skin pigmentations. I am white and red so you have discriminated against me.

Citibank costco visa discrimination
Last year my son's entitlements were stopped fraudulent and have been restored. Then Citi Bank due to their security paranoia slashed my credit by 2/3. I was denied my full Costco purchase today due to $10 over the limit. I have ALWAYS paid my full monthly balance on time! In other words, Citi Bank either discriminated on me due to my age, ancestry or due to the government messing up one time! My score has been lowered drastically from almost 800 to mid 50s. Then Citi Bank don't agree they led me to a lower score due to a low limit! I have been a lifetime Costco shopper, but no one has listened! All of these is costing me $1, 000upon $1, 000 of $ not qualifying for low interest rates, including mortgage refinancing!
Desired outcome: To restore my credit limit or Costco change credit card company and pay me for all my financial losses around $100,000
Health Issue
I need to know how long Costco is going to require its customers to wear masks or face shields when entering their store. After a year of this, I cannot wear either one anymore, as I need to consider my mental health. This past year, I have dealt with enough, as has every other American. And though I have heard "We are following CDC guidelines" numerous times, it means nothing to me because I realize this is a cop-out and a farce. Masks don't work, as anyone even with limited experience with drywall can tell you. Vaccines are everywhere for those who want them (btw, why are you still requiring the vaccinated to wear masks?), and this virus has run its course, as attested to by the over 99% recovery rate, and the fact that the stadiums, ships, and make-shift clinics had no one show up. It is hard for me to believe that such a fine, intelligent, efficient establishment such as Costco would allow itself to be manipulated. Last year, my husband was yelled at by a Costco manager just because the mask didn't cover his nose. Following the science, are we? Please. Don't insult me. I promise you, the next time I'm in Costco, I will use the common sense God gave me, and act in courage. To do otherwise is perpetuating the lie, and that breaks the 9th commandment.

New reports show that mask do not work and further may be damaging the health of those wearing them. I don't understand why Costco is taking a position regarding individual freedom. Those who want to wear a mask can do so. This who want an injection, may receive one. If you get injected with the C-19 injections, then you are protected and need not fear contracting the virus. If you choose not to get injected, then you have decided you are comfortable with the risk. That is as it should be. I haven't been in Costco since the hateful "guard" at the door decided he needed to make certain I was in fact putting on a mask and then tracked me in the store to be certain I was still wearing it. I had every intention of following the "rules" and was putting it on as I entered. After that I no longer wanted to cooperate. It has been apx. one year. I am now thinking I will never shop there again since they have decided not to sell Mike Lindell's "My Pillow" products - who do you think you are Costco? Mike Lindell is protecting our election and upholding our constitution. Aligning with the election fraud proponents puts Costco in the category of TRAITOR. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars with Costco over the years.
I just learned that Costco has decided to become political and cancel My Pillow products.
Apparently, Costco is joining other companies in black-balling companies and individuals who supported former President Trump.
Costco has decided to risk alienating and losing 50% of its customer/member base (who support former President Trump and Mike Lindell).
This was a very foolish, unwise short-sighted and politically-motivated business decision on Costco's part.
Not all of your customers are left-leaning.
Some of us actually live outside of Seattle (and California and Illinois and New York and the rest of the "woke" states).
For instance, I live in Kansas City, Missouri (which is in the United States).
Not everyone here thinks like those of you on the Left Coast.
Should Costco continue its ban of My Pillow products, I will NOT be renewing my membership once it comes up next year.
Unfortunately, I've already renewed my membership for this year, so you've got me for a few more months.
However, be assured that I won't forget to cancel before my renewal comes up next year.
Should I not receive a response to my complaint; and unless My Pillow products return to Costco, I will know for sure that I'm making a right decision to end my Costco membership.

Agreed - I was incredibly disappointed to hear of their decision because I thought Costco was an all-American company. Just wow! Talk about being disillusioned.
