Costco madeleines

I purchased Madeleines made by Sugar Bowl Bakery on 6/21/17. I was eating one piece when I fished out a nail clipping from my mouth with my tongue. I placed that piece in a zip lock bag but later, I discovered more nail clippings at the bottom of the bag in addition to the initial nail clipping. They must have came loose as that piece of madeleine was drying out. So at first, it was just one nail (in the tape) and later I find 7 more. I contacted Sugar Bowl Bakery and they replied back: "We found the samples that you sent to us to be similar to nail clippings. However, we cannot determine how it got into the product." No compensation, nothing whatsoever. Just an apology.

Costco allowing pets in costco while grocery shopping

While shopping today at Costco Bend, Oregon, I saw something that is becoming all too common. Pets being allowed to accompany their owners into grocery stores. At 12:00 pm today, October 1 there was a family of four shopping the meat department with a small dog, about 15 pounds, being carried by a teenager, then being pushed around in a cart. I appreciate and respect access for service animals, but have no tolerance for pets or comfort animals in restaurants or grocery stores. I am a dog owner and lover but would never dream of subjecting other people while shopping or eating. I would appreciate it if you would clarify why this is allowed in your grocery store. Costco customer service

Visited the Des Moines store on September 30, 2017 for a few items. Cashier was rude when paying. Used a debit card to pay and the machine was not working properly. The cashier didn't help explain what to do, but rudely commented "the bottom one, I said it three times". Even though he gave no explanation on how to proceed. Cashiers name was Orlando.

Costco optical technician

On 09/29/17 I went to the optical department to get my new glasses tightened. As the tech was tightening them she slipped with the screwdriver. She cleaned them, and then said oh you have a scratch on them. I told her that there wasn’t one when I brought them in because I just cleaned them. She then said that it probably happened while they were in the case. I can’t prove she did it, but the scratch coincides with how she was working on them. I’m very disappointed they are a brand new pair of glasses.

Costco employee

At Rohnert Park CA Costco entrance a customer unknowingly dropped his Costco card after showing it to the employee, Adam. Adamcalled out to get his attention but The he couldn't hear because he had ear phones on. The second call of "sir" was heard and the customer turned around about the same time as Adam said "get your earphones out of your butt". The customer didn't hear the unnecessary and unprofessional comment but other customers including myself did. Probably not the representation you are looking for in an employee

Costco very rude cashier

The cashier name Nancy C. was very rude in the Edmonton South store. I've been visiting for 4 years and never had an issue or complaint with the store.

At the checkout, I heard she spoke to the customer before me in an unfriendly way that they should have left the non-heavy items on the belt.

I don't know when they started to change the rule or reinforce the existing unwritten rule. Whatever, to be respectful, I left only one 18-Liter Canola oil jar and 1.75-Liter x 2 ketchup (tied together) in the shopping cart, and put all the other stuffs on the belt.

When I proceeded, she slammed down the ketchup in the cart and scanned them rudely, then she spoke up and made me feel so hostile immediately because of her tone "Next time keep the heavy items in cart only!". It was rude, absolutely!

My family visit this store regularly and we always sort items out when checking out. If you think we had it done wrongly, you can speak out, or if it is a common issue, then put a sticker at a high visible spot, but the most important thing: use your good manners!

I will continue to visit the store, but I definitely will avoid her!

Costco return line

I’ve been standing in line to return a product for fifteen minutes and the line hasn’t moved. Three cashiers have been helping the same return customer while the line is all the way to the parking lot. Why aren’t they helping other customers. We asked to talk to a manager and the door guy didn’t call anyone. This is unacceptable service. There should be a manager here helping get the line down or resolve the issue.

Costco pharmacist

I sent a complaint about the head pharmacist at your kona store yesterday and the extremely rude treatment by her only to get a call today from someone that heard her say things like I was just a druggy looking for my next fix after I had left the store, apparently not only did she tell me she had the medicine but refused to fill my prescription ( she actually chuckled as she said it ) but she diagnosed me and spit out slanderous remarks about me, it's bad enough living with life changing injuries but to be ridiculed and slandered too is to much people

Costco costco manager/team member

I was in Costco today to pick up a pair of eye glasses I ordered. While visiting I decided to look at the Ta's and see what options were available. One model caught my eye and I looked at the price, and it seemed to good to be true. So I asked a Costco employee ( I was later told he was a supervisor ) who told me the TV was $1579 and pointed to and touched the tag and TV. I told him it didn't seem right and he said that is what it is and started to walk away. I continued to try and ask questions as he kept walking away, and he told Adam to help me. Adam didn't work in the area, but listened to my concerns and notified me the TV was marked/tagged incorrectly. And the price would be $2479. I commented on how rude the other person was and he told me it wasn't right how he interacted with me. I asked to speak to a Manager and waited for over ten minutes for Anthony to walk over. During this time I observed people moving around printing the correct sign and trying to hang it on the beam before I would notice. As I was standing in front of the display, they waited to hand it to Anthony. I asked if they would match the price, and he made an accusation that policy was not to price match because a member switched the signs. I told him quickly to check the Camera's! That was now two separate members of the leadership team that have disrespected me in a matter of 15 minutes.
After my telling him I did not touch the signs he said there was nothing he could do. He did say he would talk to Adam to find out who the person was and talk to them.

I have never been so embarrassed in 43 years to have been talked to like that at a place I pay to shop in. And on top of it to be accused of switching tags? That really ticked me off. It took everything I had not to make a scene. I bit my lip and walked away wanting to walk over to the service desk and tell them to cancel my membership.

Is this what is expected? Am I missing something? I have learned a long time ago when you have a great experience you tell a few friends. When you have a bad one you tell as many as will listed. I don't believe what I experienced is the norm, and want to allow for this to be made right. I would like to talk with the district manager and see if he is aware of what happens in this club.

Costco penn tennis balls

I have bought many boxes of Penn Tennis balls and see many balls with defect at the first time use. Please have the option to buy Pro Penn or regular Penn in your ware house. The whole box pricing is very good, just please provide the option to buy a box of Pro Penn, not just regular Penn, which has bad quality. Many balls do not have proper pressure and have to be discarded at the first use. This is a very frustrating experience. Thank you.

Costco rude tire service employee at bridgewater costco

I was shopping at this Costco location today Sept. 29 when around 11:30am I decided to have my tires filled with nitrogen. I asked -Shentake B. who was at the service desk and said they could do it for me right away since they were not busy. As soon as they took it in I received a call from my daughter in law in Warren that my grandson has taken ill and needed to see a doctor. When Shentake B. notified me that my car is ready I went to pick it in a hurry but there was a blue pickup truck blocking the service bay. Politely I asked Ken who was working on the truck to please move it a little bit so I can leave and explained my predicament. He snapped and told me to wait till he is finished and I reminded him again why I need to leave as soon as possible but instead he gave me a funny look and told me to speak to the owner of the truck. Why do I have to do that? This guy is a total revetsal of what Shentale. B was-so friendly and polite. Wouldn't it be easier to just move the truck so I can leave but I guess it was too much work for him to do so or he just want to stick to what he said no matter what. I got upset and told him off - to me his primary job is customer service and surely this guy need to he reminded of his obligation to Costco customers. He was rude and arrogant and I am not taking this from someone who has no respect for customers and I reminded him that he was there at Costco whose primary duty is service. If someone has to accomodate somebody it is him and not the other way around. I left feeling so bad about the fact that I was put in a situation where someone in my position with a genuine reason to ask for a very little favor with very little effort from would have some compassion and understanding . This is the first time Ive been treated at Costco this way. Ive been with Costco for such a long way back when it was Price Club, Price Costco. Today is such a big disappointment for me. I feel I need there is a need for this unusual incident to be addressed - its not a reflection of Costco as a whole in any way and I wont let this one person destroy Costcos good reputation.

Costco tire department avoiding responsibility

I ordered 4 sets of tires online to be installed at the Apex Costco in Cary, NC last week. Got a call from the tire dept that the tires arrived and wanted to set up an appt, which I did on Sept 26 at Noon. It took only about 40 min, which was great. When my wife and I went to pick up the van, we noticed scratches on the right side above the rear tire. We also noticed a couple of lines of new scratches above the right front tire. I brought this to the tire center clerk, whose name was Mark. He came and looked at the scratches and the first thing he said was "these scratches do not look like something we've caused" "I don't know what could've caused these scratches from our shop". Apparently, he was not taking this seriously, and I felt that he was accusing me of "lie". I asked him to bring this up to the Costco manager, at which time he said that "Elliot" is the store supervisor and that he does not know when "Elliot" is going to get back to me. I asked for someone else to speak to right a way and Jesse came out and talked to us. Mark and Jesse took my Costco member # and said "Elliot" would contact me. It's been 3 days since this happened. No call from Apex Costco. My wife and I have been a Costco member for close to 20 years. Sept 26 was the worst day at Costco and one of the worst customer experiences I ever received.

I went to Costco in silverdale, WA this morning, but I got there too early.they don't open till 10 Am.so I decided to stay in my car and eat my breakfast while I wait.then it's finally 10 so grab my garbage from the food I ate and my empty drinks. And some old receipts and put in small lunch brown bag.When I get to the front store I throw my grabe in the trash can, but while I was throwing my garbage in the garbage can, the lady that working in the front door that checks the receipt was staring at me at directly in a mean look. So I ask is there a problem ma'm? And she replied to me we don't want our members throwing their Garbage here. I was so upset and ask her, so what is that garbage their for? And she just ignore me.i said to her can I talk to your manager. And theirs a guy walking by and she said that's the manager. I told him the situations and he ask me what's did I throw in the garbage can. I was like seriously?! So I went inside still upset coz obviously that Manager don't care.after I paid went to customer service and talk to the lady and she said she's the customer service supervisor and explain to her what happen. She was nice enough to walk me out the door and promise me to the employee about the situations.

Costco pizza from costco food court

We ordered a veg. Pizza from costco in augasta, we picked up on 25th sept. 2017 . It was horrible, we specifically said no meat at least 5 times and told her we are vegetarian. But when we went home took a bite we saw meat in it, it hurt our religious values, they didn’t care for our religion. We went back to costco we had wait 30 min. To get some answer and it was disappointing. I need some compensation about the behavior they intensonally did to us.

Costco refund from costco

I tried to cancelled my executive membership today because I just moved and it would be a far drive for me to shop at Costco. The incompetent worker is named Eileen. She is at the Niles, IL location and did not want to give me a refund at all even though I said I was dissatisfied. I even pointed out the policy board behind her. She said that I already received a $18 cash back check. She was talking to me very condescendingly. However, that is only 2 percent incentive rewards, which has nothing to do with my membership fee. She stated that she cancelled my membership and didn't even give me my refund. She also said that my membership expired this month, which was not true it was expiring next month, so I asked her what is the exact date its expiring and she ignored me. I said if you are not going to give me a refund, I dont want to cancelled it then. She said 'too late I already cancelled'. She is trying to rip me off. After I had asked her when the EXACT date it was expiring, that is when she called another worker. He just came up, did something on the computer and gave me my refund through debit without even saying a word. I am so dissatisfied with their service and would not recommend joining costco again.

Costco employee customer service

Looking for product in Kingston Ontario store. The store had recently been reorganized and after several minutes looking decided to ask an employee (Kelly) who I saw pushing empty boxes into a back area. I walked into the area following the sound of voices and said "Excuse me... Can you tell me where I would find the garbage bags"... and before I could say another word she rushed to me and kept saying you can't be in here... You can't be in here... Talking down to me as if I had done something seriously wrong. I reiterated that I'm just asking a question..as she ushered me out of what she now said was a restricted area. She then pointed towards the other end of the store and said 305...and disappeared back into what appeared to be a recycling area... or what she referred to as a restricted area (no signs if it was). She was rude.. condescending and definitely not professional. She could simply have handled the situation by saying yes to my question and walking out of the area (where I would have followed) to point me in the right direction. I was not impressed with her reaction to a simple enquiry. She needs customer service training. I would hope she spoken to on how to handle the next customer enquiry.

Costco customer service

I am the resident coustomer shopping at 14th ave markham Costco. Yesterday, during the shopping time.my one years old son sat at the shopping car and my mother hold the car. All the sudden, the old lady"s shopping car hit my son's arm. My son cry for long time and being terrified. The lady yelling at me and complain me not take care my son good. I ask the supervisor come over. And they start to ask the lady to leave without an proper apology. And they don"t care how bad injury my son"s arm . I wanna check camera on the store to provide more information later if I call the caps. The supervisor told me there are no camera at store and the policeman can"t help me. I was so angry about how the supervisor behave. It is totally not acceptable.

Costco kirkland signature farmed atlantic salmon

Hi, the 4 past bags of Atlantic Salmon that I’ve purchased from Costco at the Niles, IL location have been defective. Upon opening the bag I’ve found that at least 4 of the 6 individually wrapped Salmon are not sealed air tight, but are instead open and already have freezer burn. I thought the first time was maybe a bad batch, but this has been ongoing with every bag that I have purchased thus far. Beside the freezer burn, the Salmon I was getting ready to cook tonight had a black (rotting looking) substance on/in it and did not smell right at all so I was forced to dispose of it. I’ve always enjoyed the Kirkland brand Salmon because it was great tasting and was more affordable than other brands, but I must say that I can no longer keep purchasing this fish. It’s too expensive to just have to throw into the garbage. I’d like to know if I can get a refund at least for the one bag that I still have. Attached will be some photos of the product and bag. Thank you.

Costco return, costco took no responsibility

I initiated a return of a shed (#[protected]) on August 28th, it's now September 25th, the shed is still sitting in my garage taking up my parking space. I've contacted Costco (5-6 times via phone), submitted at least 6 inquiries, spoke with 4 different Costco representatives, even spoke directly to the vendor who is supposed to pick up the shed within 5-10 business days. I've had a Costco agent (Sarah) lie about calling me back (please don't lie, any phone can show miss calls or record voice messages). Sarah said she would call me back after she speaks with her supervisor, Matt, what a whole lot of nonsense, then she promptly lied about calling me back after I called back after 4 and a half hour of waiting for her call, she did not. When I spoke to the vendor, he said he could not let me know when he can pick up the shed because he couldn't speak to his driver, for over a week? Really? What kind of shoddy company is he running if he can't speak with his own drivers? I've spend countless hours on this nonsense, I am now going to dispute the charge for the shed on my credit card.

Costco, you really let me know. I am not renewing my executive membership, this is completely unprofessional, a waste of my time.

SHAME ON COSTCO. I used to be a loyal customer, but I am taking my business elsewhere, where I won't get this kind of awful service.

Costco costco restaurant

I visited costco food court today and I ordered one whole vegetable pizza and he told me to wait 20 min. When I came back he told me it's not ready yet and i waited more than 50 minutes. After all that time he gave a pepperoni pizza. I asked for the maneger, then she came and told " sorry honey " will give a free pizza but you have to wait for another 50 minutes because they are busy now! I really can't believe how rude and careless customer service at that location ( it was my first time visiting this horrible location). I don't care about the pizza but it was a lauch for my kids. You really need to train your employees at this location otherwise it will affect the entire company because costco is a well known company for its great customer service.
