Costco complaint about customer service in Boca Raton

Hi. I am usually not the one to complain, but this has gotten me mad already. If this happened once i would not care but this has been happening more the several times. I am a loyal costumer that goes to Costco constantly and buy a lot, but there were times when the check out people would forget to charge me for something and I have to take my whole full cart back to get charged for their mistake... It happened again today when i sent over $300.
So at this point I believe i deserve some kind of compensation for your employers mistakes!

Costco screw in muffin

I have purchased a pack of muffins as I usually do on Wednesday 8/23. Today 8/25 I went to eat a muffin and as I was eating it I found a screw. The worst part is that I found it after it went in my mouth. Now I can't seem to get the metal taste out of my mouth. Keep getting nausea and already vomit. How is it possible something like this can happen when you guys make this muffins. I will be telling everyone about this and I really hope you can check was going on at the union costco store bakery.

Costco samsung refrigerator order number [protected]

On August 16 my new Samsung refrigerator was delivered by XPO delivery service somehow the load was transferred from Innovel trucking. My complaint is not about the delivery which was fine the problem is the XPO driver said he didn't have the right dolly to remove my old refrigerator and would be back later that day or Thursday at the latest well here it's Friday and the old refrigerator is still here I called Costco.com talked to a Jennifer after 35 minutes on hold she said she would look into it and call me back Friday no call today... In short I need that refrigerator gone it in the middle of my back yard a real hazard for my kids playing around it. I know costco doesn't deliver but you do hire these trucking firms such as XPO with no customer service I will have to think twice before I buy another appliance from Costco.com...

Costco danville, ca warehouse

I'd like to file a general complaint, regarding access to the warehouse and the older gentleman who lets people in. I saw him let in people (clearly customers waiting to shop) early to the warehouse while I was waiting in my car, but he turned around and discriminated in choosing who to let in early. He told myself and a middle aged Asian gentleman that we'd have to wait, after just letting in a white woman. I had a very busy morning and was hoping to enter the warehouse 20 minutes early - which I have seen on EVERY occasion in which I have come to costco before opening hours.

He turned me away, likely due to my age (I look very young), and he did it in an extremely rude manner. Almost in a "how dare you try" way. I wasn't trying to enter without permission - I came up very politely and was willing to listen to whatever he needed to say about opening time. I was so taken aback and offended by his manner that I actually decided to take my large laundry list of purchases to amazon instead. The older gentleman is the face of Danville, CA Costco location and should know better than to act so, so rudely. No wonder millennials are turning to amazon these days!

Costco poor customer service

I was in the return/ exchange area of your West Broad Richmond, Va. location this evening when another customer stepped in front of several customers. I said something to your employee ( Anna Cole ) that I was next and that the other customer had stepped in front of me. I was ignored and as I moved away she was saying something to the rude customer quiet enough so I could not hear her but I am quite certain it was not kind. I made my return and asked to speak to a manager ( Leo Waathan ). I told him what happened and all he did was shake his head, at no point did he apologize. I started to walk away but instead asked for his name and the young lady who was also involved. I was at your store to get tires on my wife's car and to buy other items in your store. If my vehicle was not already in the shop I would have asked for a refund and left. I will not be making the other purchases I had planned and I may not ever return. I have been a member for a very long time and have always enjoyed a very high level of customer service but certainly not tonight. I am very surprised and disappointed by the reaction of your 2 employees.

Costco customer service

I have recently moved to the US and I have not visited a Costco store around here, so I decided to visit the one located in Canyon Country California to check if would be a good store for me to shop at, and if I should get an membership. I enter the store and I was looking at the products and prices, i liked the store and I had a question about an product and decided to ask the worker at the door as well as information about membership. I asked how does the membership work in there. The worker answered me asking me how could I have enter the store without an membership in a very judgmental matter. It sounded to me as I was discriminated and intruding the store for not having an membership. It made me feel very offended as I can not think of getting an membership of a store without at least knowing and visiting the store first.

Costco service pet rules

On Wed Aug 23 at approx 6:15 p.m. I attempted to enter your store at Kahului Maui Hawaii with my Emotional Support Dog. I was told I do not have a REAL ! disability after I answered your front service personnel questions. They were all really nice including your manager that came out to speak with me and handed me a piece of paper that contradicted itself within the body of the document, we cannot ask questions they ask you two questions. Emotional support animals are not service animals. Wrong my dog helps me keep my blood pressure down and keeps me calm in stressful situations. I was not letting my dog run around as she is near in a contained bag as per my needs. My dog is a legal service animals and I did have all the documentation showing such. First off your company violated my rights and I will send a copy of this complaint to the ADA. I felt for your employees as they all do not know how to deal with the situation. My dog sits on my lap in an airplane, next to me at restaurants. etc. She also goes with me into all other grocery stores, what makes you different ?

Costco vision care

I'm very livid with this place right now. I have a few complaints.

1. I tried calling to make an appointment 3 times and no one ever answered. I literally finally had to call Costco's main line and someone had to walk over there from Costco and have them call me. So unprofessional.

2. When I did finally make an appointment, it was a nightmare. I usually go to the Costco back in CA where I am from. However, I am going to school out here in Minneapolis so I thought I would go to the Costco out here to get my eyes checked instead. My Costco back home takes my insurance and my insurance says they cover Costco on there website so I assumed I was all set for my appointment. When I walked in the receptionist, Brianna, told me they accept my insurance normally but can not accept my insurance now because it's out of state. I have never had that issue in MN yet but ok. I don't understand why no one told me this before I made my appointment. When I said this to Brianna she said it was because they don't normally do that and that my insurance company was probably talking about the Costco optical center not the eye Dr. If that is the case, then Costco's independent optometrist really should start asking people about insurance first thing before they schedule. It's really confusing because the location is inside Costco and is affiliated with Costco. Your establishment has the Costco name on it. I have one week now where I am still covered by insurance. Last week, after I had made my appointment, I could have been looking for other eye doctors if someone had just told me we don't take out of state insurance. I am sure a lot of people get confused so the receptionist should ask before they waste an hour of their clients time like mine was.

3. Lastly, I wanted to talk to the owner about this because I was really frustrated by the lack of customer service. Brianna gave me her card and told me to call that number. I didn't want to talk to her. I was done with her. I wanted to talk to the owner. Then she said she would write down his email on the back of her card and give it to me. Thinking she did, I walked away to my car. I just noticed it's an email to another clinic completely. Now, I am really upset which is why I am just going to write this yelp review and hope it gets to him.

I know that this optometrist is independent from Costco but, regardless, it has Costco's name on it. It is clearly associated with Costco and the space they rent out is clearly owned by Costco. Metaphorically, it would be like saying my kids are independent from me. Well yes, they are separate human beings but their actions do still reflect my own reputation.

Therefore, I will not be renewing my membership with Costco, I will not be returning to a Costco in any state, and my family will not be coming back to them either. You just lost 8 customers. Please, make sure your associated businesses represent you accurately before letting them have access to your cliental.

Costco the hearing aid department

I am 2006 Costco member. I have purchased and supported every department over the tenure of our me, bership. I came into Castleton Indpls location to schedule an appointment to purchase a set of hearing aid. The employee who schedules put up every barrier possible for my appointment. Basically, said that servicing dementia patients was problematic because they would not or could not reduce the 2 hour hearing aid eval. He encouraged me to reach out to other companies. He was so rude and disrespectful that another consumer was also appalled at his behavior. So at the end of the day you lost a 3, 000 dollar sale.. because he was being a big jerk about shortening the hearing aid eval time for a 93 year old lady who has memory and incontinent issues. Shame on you Costco!

Costco customer service

Today me and my husband stopped in to Costco after work when we were checking out we had the worst customer service at all the cashier was not engaging and neither was a person boxing in fact he forgot to box the person in front of ours groceries and then when we were walking out there was an elderly couple one of which was in a wheelchair with 12 cases of Vitamin Water a big screen TV if you other stuff and nobody there to help him load it into his vehicle which my husband volunteered to do I think that is totally unacceptable customer service the rudeness at the register I can deal with but not helping the elderly and handicapped couple is unacceptable and this is the Costco on Friars Road San Diego California

Costco cashier name. dan k

I was visiting your Lake Elsinore location today for my first time and an employee named Dan K attended me at the register. He had horrible customer service and was very rude, he started laughing when my credit card did not get approval and made comments about it to other customers. That is not the type of attitude you want representing your brand. I as a customer am very disappointed the experience I had at this location.

Costco organic fruity snack

I got a box of 72pcs of this fruity snacks and now it's been 5 pcs that only carry 2 gummies inside. We payed for a full product, we have video footage. I've talked to our local costco supplier and they don't resolve anything. we are big fans of this gummies but feel it's unfair to pay full price for a product that it's not complete. we've tried about 25 bags and 5 of them come like this. It's likely a lot more will come out. I ask for a re-found or a solution to this problem. Thanks

Costco gas

I went to go get fuel today in Fredericton NB. There was a good line up and when I pulled in I had a cigarette going. There were about 5 vehicles ahead of me. When I got closer this gas attendant with a beard and big size come about 5 feet away and started yelling at me as I was putting it out. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep coming to Costco cause I will not be treated that way. I spend at least 1000 dollars a week there. For someone working in the public that is highly uncalled for.

Costco del monte bananas

My fiancé bought del monte bananas from the issaquah Costco on 8/20. Almost all of the bananas are rotten as of 8/22 oozing foul liquid. Not even 48 hours after purchase. I was alarmed finding this liquid all over my counters. He ate one that seemed okay that was left from the bunch and is now violently ill complaining of stomach pain and pressure and has been vomiting since eating one this evening.

Costco customer service/return

I purchased a camera security system in February 2017. A few months later one of the cameras broke. I called the hotline to have it replaced was instructed to fill out online form and I would be contacted. So I did but I also had to submit a copy of the receipt which I wasn't told and I didn't have. I never got around to calling back about the receipt and was never contacted. Well this past Friday August 18, 2017 I was making a return in Costco so I explained what happened with the camera system and trying to eat a replacement online and was told to just bring it in and return it. I told him I wasn't sure I had all the boxes and I didn't have my reciept and he told me it's okay just bring it in. So on Tuesday August 22 my husband and I returned it to our local Costco. My husband asked the lady if he could just have cash since we had paid with a debit card and she told him no because he didn't have the reciept. He explained to her he had made a return without the reciept before and told customer service the previous Friday he didn't have it and it was okay no problem. So I went and talked to a manager and asked why the lady did this and we were told to bring it in and had already spoken with customer service. I told her it's okay I was just wondering why the lady was refusing and treating my husband like that. But said She would try to reverse the refund from going back on my debit card to give us cash but was unable and started asking multiple questions what did we plan to buy with the money at Costco. I told her we didn't plan on making a purchase there today we were going somewhere else. Then started making comments oh I understand you have to make a purchase somewhere else and basically insinuating I didn't have money to make my purchase. im not sure what the big deal with giving me cash back was in the first place. But to be treated like that in front of an entire store and have to wait for 30 minutes just to be told that they couldn't reverse the refund and gave me a cash refund anyways and blocked my Costco card from making purchases until I came in and let them recharge my card for the refund they had just given me. I'm shocked I will come back in and let them charge my card for the refund and after that I will cancel my Costco membership. I have always enjoyed shopping at Costco and have spent a lot of money here only to be put down as a customer and made look like a fool in front of over 20-30 people for returning an expensive faulty product. I am embarrassed to ever go back to that Costco again. And embarrassed to be a member of a company who treats its customers like that when their refund policy is that they will refund your membership or merchandise at anytime if your unsatisfied.

Costco online order got cancelled

I ordered a laptop for my son to take to college. Ordered it on a Thursday, was supposed to ship on Monday. Got an email Monday saying the order had been cancelled! Why did it take so long for us to get that notification?
I called in and it took 58 MINUTES to talk to someone only to have them tell me, "sorry we can't do anything about the card, the bank is in charge of that. Sorry we can't do anything about the computer, it comes direct from the manufacturer." In the meantime, my son will go to college without a computer to use for his engineering program.
This is from a company that we PAY to shop at! What happened to the customer service?
This is making me rethink having a Costco membership at all!

Costco optical service

I placed order for contacts on 8/8/17 and told about 4-5 days to pick up. Today is 8/20/17 and decided to call for status and employee said they were there since 8/15/17. She said computer probably forgot to call me so I stated if I wouldn't of called no one would and she simply just replied "well there here so you can come pick up." She didn't even bother to apologize and simply say I"m sorry. Just the simple fact that she didn't have the courtesy of apologizing really upset me.

Costco return policy is not valid in all costco

I bought this tent to use it in Iceland for the Summer and I was very disappointed. The advertisement claims that it blocks out 97% of sunlight which if it works will come very useful for the long daylight hours during summer time in Iceland. It did NOT block out the sun light as advertised. Not only it did not block out the sunlight, when it rained heavily, the bottom was soaked with water. What annoys me about all this is that I promptly went to return it to Costco, Reyjkavic Iceland, and the Assistant manager Michelle with store manager (Brett Vigelskas) stated, " we are part of Costco Europe, you must return it back to United States!" I ended up trashing it because I didn't want to carry this lump of cheaply made tent around Iceland with me. I 've been a member of Costco for 20 years and I shop at Costco for their outstanding customer service and I was deeply disappointed with their return policy. I always understood as if your not satisfied with Costco Product return it to any Costco. Apparently Costco Europe is not the same as Costco US. - Dan

Costco milk

Hi Team,

We bought milk (Kirkland Organic Whole Milk) from Costco on 08/12/2017, And today we observed there is some brown color mud kind of item(Not sure what it is).We saw the same in all the three packets. We got scared after seeing this as we are consuming this milk for more than year now. We are too much worried about our family health.

I have attached the photos for the same, And I have 4 more packs not opened. We have the opened packets for any further testing purpose. Please suggest how should we proceed further on this.

Costco cellular

My wife and i went to Costco in Saskatoon on the north end of the city. I was going to to purchase a new cell phone. The cellular kiosk workers seemed to pick whomever. At this time i was patient because there were becoming less and less people. Then more showed up. After waiting for 45 min the one worker said there is a wait and we will take names of who is next in line. This is very unprofessional, Costco is supposedly a premium service. Not only did i waste 1/3 of my day i have a sour taste in my mouth from this experience.
