Costco Tires

Costco Cypress, CA ruined my four wheels when they replaced my tires. The Manager there said he would take care of them and admitted at fault. They had me fill out insurance papers then afterwards they refused to fix the problem. The is service negligence. They said their insurance company won’t repair. The Manager refused to help rectify the problem.

Desired outcome: Have the Costco tire center repair them.

Costco Delivery

My recent delivery orders have had problems Instacart failed to resolve: Examples:

--> There were missing items in my last order, including Kirkland brand organic cashews*, Season brand sardines*, kirkland brand protein bars (chocolate chip & double chocolate chip)*. Interestingly, the last delivery person failed to take a picture of the items delivered.

--> Past orders included melted food, such as Trident brand Salmon Burgers* that turned to mush when the driver lied as to why he was LATE (he went way north of the expressway and Costco (which is south of the expressway). I live about 10 miles to the south - driver was way out of my range - and could be seen going all over the map - you can easily find the late order by noting when I had to start requesting temperature control and for each individual item to either be substituted or refunded - because not only did he cause my items to melt, and other items to overheat, but DESPITE my stating "no substitutions," he SUBSTITUTED ITEMS. So, now, despite it being more time-consuming etc. I have to take the extra time for EACH item to request it not be substituted. This defeats the system in place to generally elect one's overall substitution preference (e.g., if "no substitutions" at the top is ignored, then why have that option in place?). Then, he misdelivered items and quickly reached into my items already rendered delivered to very quickly grab items I said were not mine and was about to hand over - getting very physically close to me during a time when COVID pandemic was of great concern. In addition, to all that, the order I believe, if I recall correctly, had missing items. That was totally not acceptable.

In good faith, I have never reduced a tip, as that was not how I was raised. But, there have been drivers like him, who merit $0 tip. Instacart may want to rethink the 2 hour tip window because people have lives and may not be able to immediately react (I never lower tips, but it's not fair to other shoppers to force them to drop everything or pay an unduly higher tip than what was merited; of course, if there are people who display continued patterns of tip baiting, then restrict their accounts accordingly). But it's not fair to prevent other shoppers from adequately providing tipping feedback at their first reasonable opportunity.

-->IMPORTANT: Please ensure Instacart resolves complaints. Instacart has repeatedly failed to reimburse or replace missing items. I am considering dropping the account due to Instacart's failure to make right driver's errors, as noted above.

Desired outcome: 1. Reimburse/Replace above-mentioned (see asterisk*) items. 2. Ensure items temperature controlled and accounted for.

Costco This is a praise report (not a complaint) for leena, one of your workers in the frederick, maryland store.

I was shopping your store in Frederick, Maryland, yesterday, and was interested in purchasing your PJs that are on sale. There were none in my size, so I was walking away when I decided to ask a food sampler person if they could contact management, hoping I could get management to come and help me. She said that she did not have a phone to do so, but suggested that I find someone in a red vest to ask them for help. I found a woman named Leena working at the far end of the clothing area and asked her for help. Leena was so kind to stop her working with clothing on the table and came to resolve my problem. I told her that there were no PJs left in my size and she started looking under the table for boxes of same. Leena quickly pulled out a box, opened it and found my size. I told Leena that I was going to contact headquarters and let them know what a great employee she is, and how Costco is very lucky to have Leena working there. What Leena did not know is that I am to have shoulder replacement surgery, so you can understand just how grateful I am for Leena's help. FYI - We usually shop the Gaithersburg store, which does not have friendly and accommodating employees and certain management personnel, so we stopped by the Frederick store, since we were already in Frederick. I think we will start shopping the Frederick Costco. Thank you for hiring someone like Leena, who is a perfect representative of Costco. Mrs. Weaver

Desired outcome: Give Leena a BIG RAISE with all of the big bucks that I spend at Costco! Thank you! Also, you should have a praise report link and not just a complaint link. I hope Leena's store manager knows what a great employee he has under his wing.

Costco Membership Department

Vincent Teasley is an extremely lazy, self entitled, condescending employee. He singles people he think he can chat with to call up to the membership desk and couldn’t care less about hourly employees. Multiples individuals and family have left the store before talking to a membership employee because of how off putting this guy is

Desired outcome: Fire him for the sake of anybody in that warehouse

Costco Complaint against security staffer at Costco Barhaven store on Strandherd drive in Ottawa

Ongoing dates over 2 years

Security person always either follows me while shopping . Uses the pogo e to text as he views me

Other staff members are given authorization to do the same .

Ruins my shopping experience in the store .

Made complaints to the store manager and head office in Ottawa x.

My anxiety and stress builds up as I enter to shop .

I had no issues with shop lifting or other crimes in the store .

Please address this as I feel it’s a personal vendetta against me .

I have a undisclosed medical condition that effects anxiety and stress levels .

Costco Food court

I witnessed a disgusting display of management today 9/14/2022 at approx. 12:19PM. I was being served my ordered pizza by an elder and the white guy, the only white guy, during that time, motioned his hand for the elder to hurry up. The elder was agreeing with him, but also trying to tell him he was busy with a costumer, but that white guy continued to signal him to "hurry it up". The elder got very nervous as he was trying to get my pizza ready. I observed the white one gloat over what he had done and had a smug look on his face. This is not the first time I have observed him (the white guy) be mean and have a bad attitude. He should know he is an employee as well and he should be reminded about treating people with respect and dignity.

Desired outcome: I would like to see this white guy become a more positive role model, especially if he is a supervisor.

Costco Lennox HVAC residential

Purchased a new residential unit 2018. Evaporator coil has a leak. Installing company verified leak said they would order new coil. Checked 1 week later now 4-6 week back order. Did internet check for Lennox coil recall. Wow so many complaints. Check for yourself before buying a Lennox HVAC unit. You will be surprised.

I would recommend Costco also review issues with Lennox products before allowing customers to purchase this poor product.

Desired outcome: Would like Costco to do some do diligence in researching Lennox class action law suit and current issues with this company.

Costco Auto purchase program

My wife, 74 years old purchased a 2022 Toyota Corolla from Gateway Toyota, Rt 70 Lakewood. She requested a purchase using the COSTCO Auto Purchase Program. She was told they no longer participated in that program. Next, After I read the contract I noticed that they placed her in a finance program that charged 7% which I believe is too high as my wife has perfect credit rating. When I told my wife to go back to the dealership and give them a check to pay off the car rather than pay 7% interest. They told her she would have to wait until the finance company sends her a bill. That I think is unreasonable. They should have accepted the payoff and cancelled any financing. COSTCO states Gateway Toyota is a participating dealership in its Auto Program. That program would have saved us a lot of money... Can't use this dealership in the future.

Desired outcome: Refund the COSTCO Discount.

Costco Angus fully cooked burgers

why has Costco discontinued selling fully cooked Angus Burgers! these came in 12 packs of cooked burgers, fully cooked, prepared by putting in the microwave for 2 minutes or less! noticed these were discontinued on August 28th, my last visit to Costco! Costco in question, on North Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs Colorado. also heard Costco on Powers in Colorado was not carrying them anymore!

Desired outcome: please start selling these burgers again! these were the best burgers ever! i would love to see these in the Costco stores again, but unfortunately, they probably won't be!

Angus fully cooked burgers were the best tasting, moist and easiest to prepare burgers, anywhere, why discontinue selling them!

Costco Costco Citi Bank Credit Card

We have been loyal customers of Costco for years. We had their American Express credit card and then the one from Citi. Overall the credit card is good. We always paid the bill on time. However we accidentally missed paying our last bill of 141.00 payment (our error). We paid the amount due although late. We will also pay the interest rate and penalty. Citi received our payment but they still suspended our credit card. No warning the card was going to be suspended! We found out our credit card was suspended when we tried to pay for our trip. Citi's reasoning is that they had not posted the payment but acknowledged they had received our money. We did error in not making the payment on time but we did pay it and Citi received the payment. We had to call and repay for our our trip using a different credit card. Needless to say I was very disappointed.

Desired outcome: Citi should not have suspended the account especially if they received the payment. Perhaps they should waive the penalty fee or interest fee or both. We have always paid on time except for this one time.

Costco Mold found on organic coconut

I bought a package of organic coconuts (2 in 1) from Costco Kirkham store (Markham, ON) on Aug 23. My membership card is xxx7809. The outside package says best before date of Sep 22. My son opened one coconut and drank it. After it, he cracked the coconut open hoping to enjoy the white pulp, just to find out green mold has been building up. At the beginning we weren't sure, so I took the green part close to my nose and I almost fainted. We then took a close look at the other one which is not opened yet and noticed the best before date written on the inner package shows Aug 15.

Can you please explain how this happened and how you suggest to resolve this to prevent further circulation?

Costco GE Profile side by side fridge

purchased 07/25/2022 should have been delivered on 08/03/2022 at this point was really excited that I ordered it on 07/25/2022 with the delivery date of 08/03/2022. so i go back on line on 07/26/2022 with a new delivery date of 08/06/2022. (why does your website state incorrect delivery dates when you know you cant meet the scheduled delivery date) than Costco/GE Logistics called and said it would be delivered on 08/16/2022. Well 08/16/2022 comes around. Well the fridge gets "almost" delivered yes because it was at the end of my driveway when the person opening the box cut the electrical cord with the box cutter...yes its true. so know costco tells me the delivery date wont be till 09/16/2022 problem is that my credit card has been charged already. I've tried to get this resolved (via phone over a 2 week span about 10 hrs of my time) still waiting on a response from Costco and my refund. Very disappointed in Costco. I thought they had some integrity but doesn't seem like they care anymore. Where is my refund Costco? todays message on costco.com is fridge is on backorder and wont be delivered till 09/13/2022 (this is misleading)

Costco Fresh flower delivery

I was the recipient of fresh flowers delivery by UPS Next Day Air and when I opened the box, I discovered the glass vase was broken. I didn't need a replacement since I had a vase I could use for the flowers, but I wanted to report this so Costco was aware. When I called Customer Service they said there wasn't anything they could do to credit or compensate the sender. There also was no message enclosed from the sender so I had no idea who sent me flowers and Costco stated they couldn't reveal that. The message with the flowers stated sender did not complete message section. When I did finally find out who they came from, she stated she did send a message with the order. I did not want to say anything to the sender about the broken vase, but I do want Costco to know that I think they should adjust the amount she was charged for this order based on the broken vase and missing message. Costco Shopping Carts too tall !!

I am an adult and I am 4feet 11inches tall , and I cannot reach the bar on the shoppings cart to shop for items in your store!

I love Costco, but I am thinking about cancelling my account due to this issue

Can you please make new shopping carts that is comparable to all size adults ?

I can't be the only adult who has complained regarding this issue

Costco Service at Costco north lakes

Customer Service on Sunday 24th of August evening at 6:30pm was rude. A Costco leader was at the customer side at the food counter yelling at customers and employees, creating unnecessary stress for everyone, yelling the numbers of the food and rushing the delivery of it. The process was unclear as they had turned off the order machines but the leader was yelling that once they finished the backlog they could sell what was left. There are many ways to achieve the same outcome, and I don’t think yelling is an adequate one, or conducive to a harmonious environment among employees and for your customers. It seems all the leaders wanted was to get out the shift by any means. Also, we were ushered outside by the same leader. When we were finishing our food outside another lady came to tell us off saying that we had to be out of there because they were closing and she needed it to move trollies. We were not sitting on the way of the trollies nor were we on anyones way, so I think this again was unnecessary and another symptom of a culture were telling off your customers and your employees is tolerated because is the end of the day.

Costco Cell Phone Sales

Dear Sir/Madam

On 8/8/2022 around 9.15am came to Costco to buy a cell phone for my wife. When we came Sal the salesperson at the Cell Phone counter was talking to a customer. We waited for 10 minutes the talking was going on nonstop on other things not the cell phone. So, my wife kindly asked him how long it will take, he didn't even look at her, told her 10 minutes & hand gesture to go around the store. We came to buy the Cell Phone & nothing else so waited and were looking at the other cell phones that were on display. Then a White Woman came & asked him a question, he immediately not only responded to her but also went out to show her where it was. It was like a slap on our face. I have been a Costco Executive Member for over 20 years, he not only ignored us but humiliated us with his action.

We left the store & bought a brand-new Cell Phone from a Verizon store in Walnut Creek.

Sal is a RACIST, he doesn't know how to communicate with the customers. Disappointed for the 1st time with Costco to have untrained staff.

Costco Concierge services

I am a die hard Costco shopper yet feel exhausted working with Concierge Services to get my daughter's computer repaired or replaced. This is certainly not the "up to par" service that Costco has provided our family since it was Price Club years ago.

Contact with Concierge Services started on July 13, 2022 and still is going on today (8/18/2022) with any feedback on the progress of a mailed in computer to be repaired or replaced. No respectable or timely feedback on the progress is ever provided, only my calls to the technical support number and then sit back to be on the line for a minimum half hour to hour waiting for the initial responder to ask all the same questions like it was a first time inquiry.

Only one customer service representative spoke with clarity, concern, and direction among the 8-12 other representatives from different localities who did not have much of a clue of what to do except to pass the call to someone else.

Why have such a service if the customer is deflated with such service over the phone? This is my only deep concern whereby Costco has fallen way short on its customer service.

Desired outcome: Better equipped and trained technical and warranty support personnel who can handle an assigned case number to its next level of care without putting you on hold or not capable of articulating the progress of one's case in a clear manner.

Costco Shaw floors in home flooring

Had a wonderful gal come into the home to give me an estimate on Vinyl plank flooring. Went thru process of picking color/type of flooring and discussed different methods of installing. I waited two weeks to get an incomplete estimate.

All was included in estimate except for baseboards. Then I got a call from the gal that had come out saying Costco would not do the job? My baseboards were the issue. No alternative suggestion? Just no we will not do the job. I am renovating the home it was built in 1955 have had the base boards replaced in our Bathroom for new tile installation and Livingroom for new carpet installation so it is possible and had no complaints from any of my installers. I have been an executive member for many years and did not expect such a rigid attitude from Costco. It has changed my view on Costco and their business prospective. Will not contact Costco again for any home improvements as they cannot provide or complete as they advertise.

Desired outcome: As I know you are not a mind reader that should not even come up as an option statement made by your company. Costco process even making a complaint is [censored]ty. Acknowledgement of this complaint will suffice.

Costco Prescription sunglasses

The coating on my sunglasses started to “peel” after about 11 months of use. I brought them back to two different Costco locations and was told that was as a result of normal use. I said funny, I’ve been wearing sunglasses for over 50 years and never had an issue until this pair.

Now I’m reading that this seems to be a problem for a whole lot of folks and they’re being told the same answer.

I was a Costco customer 100%, not now. In fact I will not renew my membership after many many years. Costco has told me what they think of their long standing customers, zero.

Desired outcome: Would like the lens replaced!

Costco Costco concierge service

I had bought an LG gram laptop for around £1000 on nov 25th 2022 for my son in GCSE. The laptop from the beginning had issues, even after the factory reset multiple times, it would stall as soon as we open more than 2 windows. Anyways, due to my son’s exams we somehow carried on, and recently it’s charger stopped working. I went to the warehouse and they said only concierge services can help.

So today, after a painful dialing 4-5 times and persistence after hours I got through their number.

I got the most unhelpful person on the line, who for 15 minutes only kept on saying that warehouse does not know what they are saying and they tell lies etc. After 15 minutes he tells it is not on Costco warranty so he cannot help at all, I can try calling again ideally on Thursday when they can connect me to LG where I can explain my problem and they may take it forward. On top of this he was very clearly telling me that I would have been better off buying my laptop from a regular shop and made a mistake buying from Costco !

One of the most annoying customer services! There was no intent to help, and blaming everybody else in the world. We were told we have 2 years Costco warranty..,but looks like we will have keep trying their number to hopefully be connected to LG, and not sure what happens then.
